I didn’t really record anything today, so I’m here to say hiiii anyways🤗⭐️ - I haven’t really touched on all that’s going on right now and the killing of George Floyd. I’ve been trying to do research and educate myself about the whole situation and I’m back to share my opinions(I know that all might not agree with what I have to say, so please don’t be mean). - I believe that what happened to George Floyd is murder, I think that it was completely unjustified. I know I’ve never been through the heartaches or troubles of having colored skin, so that’s why I feel weird trying to relate to those that do know the trouble. I am a white women that has never feared to go outside of my own home because of my color, but for anyone that has ever felt this way...it seriously breaks my heart. No one should ever fear the troubles of having colored skin. - There is a lot of protesting going on and I wanted to say one thing...there are such things as racist police officers and we see this in the killing of George Floyd. But one thing should be said loud and clear...NOT ALL POLICE OFFICERS ARE BAD. There are those who have family and love everyone equally. So don’t write every cop off to be racist or to be crooked. - My love goes out to everyone in this time of heartache. I pray for each and everyone of you! God bless you all, have a good evening💖🍯

Starting can be so overwhelming. . Starting something new can be even more overwhelming. . If you’re like me you want to have all your ducks in a row before beginning something new. . This is a trap. . You’ll never start if you’re waiting for the perfect moment to begin. Life is messy and all over the place. Even if you wait for the opportune moment... something will throw itself in your face shortly after you being. . Commit to starting now. . Remind yourself that starting something new can just be one small action. And then boom you’re on a whole new journey. . There is this poster up at the office that I work at that says something along the lines of “the longer an idea takes to develop the less likely it’s going to be launch”. I remember the first time I read it and I was like wtf that sounds messed up. Isn’t the whole point of developing something to take your time and make sure it’s perfect before it launches? . As I saw this poster daily I started to think more about it. And lowkey it’s right. If you spend forever trying to get something perfect before launching it you run the risk of not ever getting it started. Wouldn’t it be wiser to spend a shorter time planning and just start and make edits along the way? Probably yeah... . happy monday💞 I cannot believe it’s week 7. one of the main ways that the #shreddysteadygo challenge has influenced me is through the confidence that has come out of it. I think fitness and health is so much more than physical health and this challenge has emphasised the importance of feeling good within yourself. I’ve always struggled with my confidence. Going through my school years with ‘friends’ who constantly knocked my body confidence in so many ways. I feel like I’m coming out of lockdown and a more secure person. New month, new goals, new gym wear😏 Thought I’d make this post as a sort of get to know me attempt, so here goes with 10 fun facts: -I got into fitness at a very young age starting gymnastics when I was just 2yrs olds -I competed at national level as an elite gymnast and made GB squad, i gave up when I was 16 - I’m motivated by achieving results and wanting to be a perfectionist (can sometimes be a flaw) -I’m insane at hula hooping (can do it for hours) -I live in a mad house where at one time we had 8 pets all at once -I studied Law with Criminology at uni and deffo don’t want to go into a law career -my favourite holiday destination is Greece -I prefer savoury food over sweet - I’m allergic to apple skins and horses - I listen to almost every genre of music (apart from heavy metal) my playlist is soooo varied🤣 -I have three tattoos Hope you’ve all had a lovely day, anything else you wanna know - drop your questions in the comments!💓 Absolutely love this new set from @womensbest, couldn’t help but order a another one🤣

'Eat more, do more' has its limits. 🏃‍♀️ - Broadly, it comes down to personal preference: - Would you rather eat a bit less, and do a bit less? (@harryranson) - Or, would you rather accept the slog and move a bit more, to allow for more grub? (me) - But the far end of the spectrum is problematic, both ways: - EAT LESS DO LESS probs: - *most especially* as a small female, eat less do less means you may run into vital nutrient deficiencies, as well as it being just *really* hard to eat low absolute calories. 😱 So, you may be better off moving a little more (even if you CBA) in order to avoid very real struggles and practical issues when dieting. - EAT MORE DO MORE probs: If you try to spend every moment burning calories, every day training, so that you can get away with more food... 😬 You'll likely find yourself running into overuse injuries in an effort to avoid the unavoidable: you can't escape hunger on a diet. 🙄 Not to mention the poor headspace that often comes hand-in-hand with trying *constantly* to offset intake with expenditure. - And this is the crux of it, really: Nevermind the physical implications of trying to do more, more, more (though, the physical implications and risks are notable: especially given we're more susceptible to niggles in a deficit). 🤕 The importance of preserving a healthy relationship with exercise, diet, your body can't be overstated. 🥰 - Don't do something for the sake of a diet, that you're going to have to spend time undoing in the future. 🤦‍♀️ Shoot for the middleground - the answer is almost always found there. 💆‍♀️ - Wearing @audacia_london #brandambassador 🖤

Hello, I haven’t really said anything remotely interesting on here for a very long time. Other than a few pictures of my bum just to make sure it’s still there, I really haven’t felt like being on Instagram. I still sit and scroll everyday, but I don’t feel like consuming content anymore, I merely brush by it. I also haven’t felt like creating anything, because well honestly I don’t feel like I’m doing anything remarkable. Since the gyms closed 2.5 months ago I’ve really had to take on a different perspective in terms of my body. I joined the gym to overcome an eating disorder, and a hatred for my body that I’ve had ever since I can remember. Lifting weights helped me view my body in terms of what it could do, not what it looked like. However since not being able to lift weights, and taking up running to maintain my sanity, I’ve found it hard to come to terms with the muscle, progress and self love that I’ve lost. My body has changed, and I’ve got weaker, and this has really had a negative impact on how I feel about myself. I’ve chosen to stay away from posting about my body, or about preaching self confidence because I’d feel I was being hypocritical when I’m not practicing what I preach. Lockdown has really helped me evaluate what I want in life, and really all what I want boils down to is happiness. So I’m not making a return to Instagram and I’m not going to start promoting workouts claiming to make you look like a goddess or food that will help you lose weight, because most of that, in my opinion, is bullshit. You could do everything I do, but still not look how you want to, and I don’t want to sell false hope or mislead people into thinking it’s easy, because it’s not. Im running 60km a week yet I have lost definition, gained a few lbs and definitely lost strength. It’s all relative. Instead I want to encourage you not be too hard on yourself. Life is hard at the moment. We are in the midst of a global pandemic. You don’t need to worry that you ate a piece of toast, or that you didn’t run far enough, or that you’re not “skinny enough”. Instead worry about your mental health and about maintaining your happiness, that’s the most important thing you can do💛

Sooo I decided to order gym wear from @myproteinuk , was a lil hesitant as they’re mostly known for their wide range of nutrition, supplements, protein, etc.. however I was extremely surprised at how much I loved everything I ordered! 🖤 Here is a pair of shorts a black mesh sports bra I ordered, these are my new fave shorts! 🌷HOW I DO THE SHREDDY TONE UP GYM GUIDE FROM HOME 🌷 • • • So, this week I wanted to share how I’ve been doing the @shreddy tone up GYM guide from home. I have to adjust certain things sometimes but this is a pretty accurate workout for me, and today I didn’t actually change any exercise (apart from skipping a bench dip x push up superset for time reasons). So here’s today’s workout: • • barebell shoulder press 4 x 12, then 1 set AMRAP • narrow hold chest press 4 x 12, then 1 set AMRAP, this is one of the exercise I adjust, instead of a bench I just lie on the floor. • skull crushers superset with bicep curls x 12 x 4, again for the skull crushers I just lie on the floor • plate raises superset with steering wheels x 10 x 5 • • • • Throughout this week I’m going to be filming my workouts from the Gym guide and showing you how I do them from home, and if I’ve changed anything I’ll let you know what to! • • • Also today I woke up to 1k so thank you all so much 💗💗💗 • • • • • #shreddy #shreddysteadygo #shreddychallenge #barbellworkout

NO EQUIPMENT FULL BODY WORKOUT 🏋️‍♀️ . Anyone who said you can’t get in an impactful workout just using body weight was lying! I had such a good workout this morning with no equipment! . I love getting my workouts in first thing in the morning, I feel more accomplished and it sets the tone for my day. The workout I did today was perfect to wake myself up and left me feeling really positive. . THE WORKOUT: 6 rounds of each exercise and you must complete all 6 rounds before moving on to the next exercise. When I first posted anything about the gym I felt like a right knob. . Luckily, I have a really good network of friends who are supportive, despite calling me a dickhead numerous times a day and being sure to remind me of every embarrassing thing I’ve ever done in my life 👍🏼. . I basically told the girls I felt stupid and one of them said “It’s something you love doing, you wouldn’t feel stupid posting that you were baking so you shouldn’t when you’re posting about fitness” (thanks @mumvsspuds). . It really is that simple and I hadn’t even thought about things like that. I felt like I couldn’t post about fitness because I’m not a PT, but I’m not Mary Berry either and that’s never stopped me sharing my cakes. I’ve received nothing but encouragement, advice and even lovely messages from girls I’ve never met on this account. . 🌸SUNDAY FEELING🌸 . With a few more people heading back to work (or into the office). I thought I’d let you into a little tip. Since the gyms have closed I have changed my routine, I use to have sundays as rest days. However, now I have found they are perfect to workout on, especially if you are going into the office (unlucky me has the whole time during lockdown). You just have so more time, to actually get an effective workout. Plus you don’t feel drained after work 😊 . So what I am trying to say is don’t feel bad if your routine changes, and you miss a workout. Find a new routine that works best for you. No point in adding extra stress at this time 💜 . Another little tip that helps me is working out in the morning, as it gets it out the way! . Good luck if you are heading back to the office soon, it’s not too bad, I promise. Exceeded my step goal today by 5k with a beaut walk around Ladybower reservoir in the Peak District. Feels like I've walked my ass off over the past week. 𝐓𝐫𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 💓⁣ ⁣ Dealing with PCOS all my life has meant dealing with lots of different symptoms/consequences, one of them being insulin resistance and therefore being overweight. ⁣ ⁣ I’ve lost a lot of weight previously, getting myself to where I am now. But that was with the help of a very patient & supportive personal trainer, lots of time at the gym & lots of running. ⁣ ⁣ I feel like trying something new & have been doing lots of reading recently. I’m going to try eating low carb for a while to see if that makes a difference for me. Dealing with PCOS, my body doesn’t deal well with carbs/sugar so I’m hoping to see more benefits than just weightloss. ⁣ ⁣ @_shannonslife’s incredible journey has inspired me as I’ve watched her commit to eating well & changing her lifestyle - I’ve been grateful for the tips so far (specifically adding berries to salads & using pouring cream in coffee 😋). So I’m excited to give it a go! Any tips welcomed! 💓

☀️summer loving☀️ . . I’ll be the first to admit that I get very distracted by nice weather and end up spending hours on end just lying reading my book in the garden! But there’s nothing wrong with that! 😌 It’s always important to do what you think will make you happy rather than just what you think you should be doing. Life is all about finding compromises! For example instead of doing a HIIT workout, I’ve been walking or cycling further than usual in the mornings so that I can relax outside for the rest of the day 🌸 Don’t be too harsh on yourself if you’ve spent more time topping up your tan that you have lifting weights!
