She hadn’t even realized it! And again this is someone that has already achieved incredible things! And even SHE was allowing negative thoughts in. . That doubt lives in ALL of us! Self care comes in many different forms. Today’s was getting a mammogram. It’s not a relaxing or necessarily a super fun time. I mean it’s kind of a brief form of torture have your boob squeezed flat while trying to bend/lean back and hold your breath. But it’s totally worth it. This self care can save your life. I always dreaded this appointment. Since I was pregnant then breast feeding at 40, I didn’t have to go right away. I got a “get out of jail free card”. So when I finally went I dreaded it. I realized it wasn’t that bad. Then a couple years ago, I had a scare. They found something and more testing needed done. I was terrified. I went for the 3D mammogram and the Ultrasound. Both showed it was only a cysts...whew. Now I look at this as one of the most important things I can do for myself. Early detection can make all the difference. So if you are scared, I understand. I’ve been there. But stand up to your fears and do this for you! Yesterday I didn’t clear. Working with oncology patients can be heavy. Although on the surface they are cheery and light, beautiful and inspiring, there is a heaviness. When we do energy healing or bodywork, we need to remember that we are vulnerable to picking up, and even attaching, to other people’s vibrational energy. Some people dispute this with me, although I know this to be the case for myself. It is important to ground ourselves, to clear ourselves and our client. After the session is over, we need to clear the room—in any number of ways. I like to visualize a white light, or ask my spirit guides to help me remove any lingering energy and take it back to source. I will use a tuning fork, or sage spray. I remind myself that anything that I feel that seems off is not my energy, and I do not own it. Yesterday I was tired. I didn’t do this. I slacked off. So: I got home and was scrambled. I felt sad and scattered. I felt angry, and had anxiety. I picked a fight with my husband. I was tired, depleted. It was dramatic. And then I remembered that my tiredness and lack of clearing caused me to attach to some negativity. As soon as I realized this, it was gone. As soon as I became present, I was free. Please always remember to take the extra steps to protect yourself and others from enmeshing energetically. This is real work that we do. The physical weight that I felt release from my chest was life changing. Kcal counting is annoying BUT it does work the best way. To loose weight we NEED to be in kcal deficit. It doesnt matters how you do it. You can just increase activity or reduce kcal. The problem is if you do not know your kcal for loosing weight and how to count them its not gonna work. Learning to count kcal is annoying as most of you said so. But its makes sence if you give it a go. Its much easier to maintain weight once you learned to do it. Biggest mistake starting out usually is tracking food and estimating servings instead of actually measuring it by using kitchen scales. Thats why telling everyone you cant loose weight on 1200kcal its bullshit as you just estimating and probs you eating more.(remember everyones kcal are very individual)Or lets say you have been good all week and then weekends you endup binging . So your avarage kcal in a week would just be maintainance kcal. My favourite benefit from kcal counting is you can eat whatever fits in your target. But dont forget about quality of your food. Priorities comes first. Overal health.
