Por eso, voy a empezar a dar clases por Zoom dos veces por semana! 😁 Las salas van a ser abiertas y gratuitas. Así les paso la información para ingresar. 👉🏼En un principio, las clases serán Martes y Jueves a las 19hs. Pero podemos ir charlándolo según lo que necesiten lxs que se sumen. La mecánica será la siguiente: - Comenzaremos con un ejercicio de respiración, luego seguiremos con un poco de Metiacion, Para terminar con Asanas (posturas) hasta llegar a la famosa y amada Savasana (postura de relajación final). - Tiempos: Estaremos 20´con Pranayama y Meditación y 40 ´con las posturas (aproximadamente). - No se necesitan conocimientos previos de Yoga. El ejercicio de respiración será explicado. La meditación será guiada, solo deberán escucharla. *repos 8th-14th 7 day Show Some Love sponsored yoga challenge for CHUF @chufofficial I’m doing this challenge to support my yoga te In September 2015 my beautiful niece Layla passed away at only 9 months old. She was diagnosed with a heart condition known as Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome which means that only one side of her heart was working. At only 5 days old she had her first surgery. During her 9 months of life she had 13 surgeries, 7 or which were open heart. Our family were lucky enough to live besides one of the top children's heart units in the UK, the Children's Heart Unit at the Freedman Hospital or CHUF. Not only did Layla have all of her surgeries and care there, she also spent 6 months of her life there. Layla received amazing medical attention but also exceptional care and support for her family. This challenge I was going to do just myself to raise money for CHUF but then I realised that there is strength in numbers so I'm opening it up to anyone who wants to participate. Each day post a pic of a heart opening yoga pose and answer the journal prompt in your caption, tag me and use the #yogisshowlove. Ask for donations towards CHUF while completing the challenge. Not running or practicing proper yoga yet (although yesterday managed to do some yin focusing on hips that was lovely but the chest area was still pulling when stretching the arms...this illness has certainly a slow recovery). Keeping it positive and enjoying more of a slow side of life at the moment. Instead of running I’ve just done a nice walk. It turns out that I'm 15 min walk to the river (swipe ➡️ to catch the view) and I’m pleased to say it’s such a lovely area of London. For many years I lived in Notting Hill and even though I was exploring around I must admit I used to spend plenty of time in the hood - London has so much to offer indeed! And this side of town is beautiful - certainly very lucky to go for a walk during lockdown. Nos últimos meses, sinto o Bhakti Yoga cada vez mais presente em minha vida. Minha mente, emoções e sentidos estão constantemente voltados ao Divino. Cada vez com menos frequência me flagro em maya (ilusão). Meu terceiro olho está constantemente vibrando, como se o mundo espiritual estivesse sempre em contato comigo, e eu sei que está. Dia após dia, me sinto um veículo de consciência para este mundo. ~ Estamos vivendo momentos de alta tensão em nossa sociedade. Boa parte da população parece estar tomada por uma energia odiosa, negativa, que não lhes permite enxergar seus irmãos com compaixão. Muitos outros acreditam que podem resolver os problemas que nos aflingem com violência, pois parece ser a única forma eficaz de contrapor a dor que lhes é causada. ~ O primeiro Yama dos Yoga Sutras de Patanjali é Ahimsa, que é usualmente traduzido como não violência. No Yoga entendemos que não é possível eliminar a violência do mundo cometendo mais violência. É a lei natural da ação e retorno: violência gera mais violência, mais dor. Em toda a história da humanidade nada foi definitivamente resolvido por meio da violência. Os aliados venceram a Segunda Guerra Mundial, aparentemente derrotaram o nazi-fascismo, mas, se estivesse derrotado mesmo este mal terrível, não estaríamos agora novamente lutando contra esse crescente terror. O fascismo novamente atormenta a vida de boa parte da população mundial. Não será com violência que venceremos. A luta maior deve ser no interior de cada um de nós. O mundo exterior é apenas um reflexo do interior coletivo.

« Quand j’ai commencé le yoga il y a dix ans, parce que j’avais un problème de dos, je n’avais jamais fait de sport. C’était la première fois que je me retrouvais face à un challenge hyper difficile, car j’avais toujours été bonne élève… Et cette grande difficulté a duré des années ! Ce qui m’a fait tenir, c’est la philosophie. J’aimais cet état d’esprit non compétitif, le fait que si tu veux sortir de la posture tu en sors. Ce n’est une bataille qu’avec toi-même. Je fais principalement du hatha et du yin, et ce sont des pratiques dans lesquelles tu es face à toi-même. Tu ne peux pas fuir ton émotion, tu es sur le tapis et tu continues. Il y a des sports qui te permettent de te vider la tête, en yoga, tu traverses ces émotions. Moi qui suis à fond dans l’introspection, ça m’est arrivé en cours de yin d’avoir évacué une émotion sans savoir ce que c’était. J’analyse moins. Si je ressens une émotion qui me dérange, je sais que j’ai mon cours de yoga qui arrive et qu’à la fin j’y aurai fait face, sans violence, en l’accueillant. A force de questionner mon corps, de questionner l’ego, le yoga m’a amenée à une certaine ouverture d’esprit. Ce que j’appelle l’ego, ce sont des manières de réagir que nous utilisons pour nous protéger et qui nous empêchent de voir la réalité de ce que l’on ressent. Cette pratique m’a appris à être moi-même, à accepter qui j’étais, et cela m’a donné de l’espace mental pour les autres, pour accepter que tout le monde fonctionne différemment. Aujourd’hui je pratique entre 3 et 5 fois par semaine, mais je ne le fais pas pour les asanas, les postures physiques. Je m’en fiche de la posture sur la tête ! Mon asana préférée reste Savasana, la plus facile. Pour moi, le yoga n’est pas un sport mais une philosophie de vie.
